Leti Arts × MTN Game Challenge

MTN DigiFest Game Developer Contest 2026

Launched for MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary, the challenge invited Ghanaian developers to build games that reflect Ghanaian and African values, then showcase them and defend them in front of judges.

About the challenge

MTN Ghana and Leti Arts created the Game Developer Contest to grow indigenous game development in Ghana: games made here, about here, for players everywhere.

More than 50 games were entered by university students and indie developers, alone or in teams of up to three. Ten finalists, five in each category, pitched and played their games live at KNUST on 26 October, and the winners were announced the same day.
